Right heel is feeling much better. Ran in the Speedstars again. Looks like these are good to go for Boston.

Decided to go to my first spin class in about a year (there was a "farewell" celebration for the instructor. Did 1 hour spin -- I'm giving myself credit for 4 miles...I hope that's fair. This might have been a violation of the "don't do anyting stupid this close to Boston" rule. I won't be doing spin again any time soon. Good workout, though. Tough ont he quads.

Nah, no violation! I am all for doing whatever the heck we want. BUT I am kind of dumb! I do not eat the proper fuel to have a functioning brain!

My first thought was, "why would you do spin class for your first time in a year so clost to Boston?", but as long as you didn't strain anything, I guess you are all right. Oh the crazy things we do during taper time. I'm sure I will do something dumb in the next couple weeks. I'll just hope it doesnt' bite me in the butt at Boston.
