Ran 1 miles laps around my place of buisiness. Darin was going to meet me out there, but his meeting ran late, so I was solo.

I wanted to run nice and easy MP miles (MP = 8:00 for my new BQ level)

Looks like you nailed it. So was it easy?

Rhett -- it's funny, I only looked at my watch at the mile chimes. I think 8:00 is very doable--my HR stayed under 140..so, I wasn't working too hard. (by the end of a marathon it's up near 160) My PF is hurting a little -- but, I remember stepping on a stone -- so I'm hoping it is nothing serious. If it still hurts in the morning, I might put off my long run until Sunday.

HOW NICE to nail that mp and felt easy and very COOL that your HR stays below 140. GOOD LUCK w/ your long run...in the VFFs?

Nice job, Mr. Consistency.

Marc, it sounds like you should be ready to hit that pace for 26.2. I hope the PF pain is nothing. I swear by rolling my PF tendons on a golf ball a couple times a day. It really has helped my PF problems go away and hopefully stay away.

Nice run so how is the PF today?
