My plans to run on Saturday were washed away...too rainy.

Ran 14 miles after church today. Nothing very note-worthy. This is the longest run I've done since Boston on 4/20. It felt pretty good. Though I've gained a couple pounds, I haven't lost much fitness. (HR was good for the pace). AP: 7:52

It was a beautiful day. 71 degrees, low humidity, light winds..ah..

I'm having fun reading everyone's Ogden race reports.

I feel your pain with the weight gain...one of these days I will be at "race weight" Hopefully it will be around SGM time.

Nice to get a good run in.

Dang Mark, I think you could go a month without running and you still wouldn't lose any fitness. It's weird, I always seem to lose a couple of pounds when I don't run for a few days.

Nice work!!! And I am glad the humidity cooperated for a day.

It must have taken you all day to read those reports!! Some people are so long winded....geesh!

Sounds like it was a beautiful day for a run. Can you believe it's only been 1 month since Boston, tomorrow? It sure seems like forever since I've run. I don't know if I've ever gone this long without running.

Kathie - I'm not sure what "race weight" is. I feel faster when I'm lighter, but I feel like I have more endurance when I'm heavier--I must be using my fat reserves!

Dale - Not me. I run less, but eat the same. You do the math! :)

Kelli - I enjoyed every word of those race reports. Definitely not as painful to read as they were to run. I trust you and Scott are recovering nicely?

Rhett - Yep, it's been a month. I saw a few little leaguers at dinner tonight wearing Boston Red Sox uniforms, and it reminded me of our trip to Fenway. Time flies!

Yes, recovering well--thanks for askin'! I just ran 2 blocks!! And Scott signed up to run another marathon in one month. Apparently he is too recovered, his brain has already forgotten the hours in the medical tent. MEN!

Have a great evening!!!
