Decided to run AFTER work, alone. Did 10 laps around my workplace. It was about 84 when I started at 6:30. But, felt pretty good as the sun was starting to set. Not as bad as 84 at noon. Took it easy, and got in some quality miles. This is my longest run since my 20 miler on my b-day 2 weeks ago. Time to get creative with getting in my workouts. UVM will be here soon!

Wow, that's hot and humid! I would melt in that. It will be a "breeze" for you at UVM! NICE 10 miler, btw!

Must be a BIG lap around the work place. Good work, Marc!

Here's a creative workout you can do the week before UVM: run a 50 mile trail run! Yeah! It'll be fun. You'll be popular. Everybody's doing it. People will like you.

OK, just kidding. Only clinically insane people would do something like that. Right?

Maynard - each lap around the Motorola plant where I work is exactly 1.03 miles. Unfortunately, I'll be driving across country with my family during the week before UVM. I'll be lucky to get a few miles in. That's right, you're doing a 50 mile trail run the week before UVM -- I'm guessing one of those races won't be "all out". I have a 50K scheduled for July -- I like to space my marathons at least a month apart...I'm not quite insane, but close.

At least with the light training, you won't end up injured like poor little me.

84 wow. Yeah that doesn't sound like much fun. Looking forward to seeing you at UVM. What is your goals for that race??
