You Texans must be acclimatized to the heat. I wilt in 84 degrees! AWESOME mile repeats!!! You totally trashed the plan, look at all those splits in the 6's. VERY COOL! GOOD JOB!!!

Did you see Kathie's post today??? Slip 'n Slide and no mention of an injury!!!! You need to take slip 'n slide lessons from her!!! :)

Thanks guys...woohoo for me for braving the heat (which I said I would stop mentioning...but I just cant :)

Yes, Tim, this Saturday night is El Scorcho..and no, I'm probably not ready for it, but I'll finish one way or another. Not sure where I am compared to last year at this time...I'll go for sub 4:30 (5+ minute PR). If I don't make it, no biggie. My new Speedstars should be arriving tomorrow. I'll get a few miles on them, and maybe try them out at the race.

Kathie, glad to see I'm not the only runner to try the slip-n-slide! Was yours 200 ft, and on packed dirt that feels like concrete? (I'm guessing probably NOT ;)

Marc - no ours was on a grassy hill which was really fun when you slid off the plastic. I am still finding grass stuck to my body!

Kathie - :-)

Thanks, Tim! I'll see what this old body can do.
