Ran w/ Dave for about 8 miles, then he bagged it (he said he was feeling a bit sluggish). I ran the remaining 5 miles with anther group from the local running club. Their pace of 8:30-9:00 was just what I needed. I'm spoiled by the Texas weather!

I wasn't planning to run today, but the weather was nice, so I went at lunchtime. Ran out into a 23MPH wind. Walked a couple times just to get the HR back under 150. On the way back, it was smooth sailing with the net downhill and nice tailwind.

AP: 9:00 (including the walking)

My first 20 miler since February 2012. Perfect morning for running. 45, light breeze. Took 2 Honey Stingers one at 8 and one at 12. Drank powerade/water every 2 miles or so.

Felt really good at the finish. Feet were a little sore, but not fatigued. Must have been the chicken pot-pie and rice I had for dinner the night before.
