| I signed up for a 20-mile race ($10 - no shirt, no medals) Saturday morning. I needed a long run in preparation for Cowtown, anyways. And it's great having someone else provide the drinks, and have others to run with. It was an out-and-back course. The 10-15 mph wind was mostly against us on the way out. By the time we turned around, was a little more tired than I would have liked. (7:30/mi for the first half). About 8:05 / mi for the second half. As I forgot to charge my Garmin the night before (I have no splits..a rookie mistake). I have no idea where I placed (nor do I care). It was a pretty good long run.
