My daughter, Megan has officially moved into an apartment at the University of North Texas. This is her first time away from home, and it's a little scary, but, we're excited for her. She's only about 45 miles away, so it's not so bad. She's already texted my wife 20 time today - asking advice on everything from cooking to cleaning. She'll do fine. Maybe it's time to move my office from "The Shed" to her old bedroom???

Soccer practices start on Thursday. I'll be coaching 6 and 7 yearold boys (mine are on the team). I'll be attending a coaches clinic on Saturday. I really want these boys to get the most out of their experience -- and I want to be the coolest coach ever (now, if I only knew something about soccer..and coaching soccer...hmm)

Ty wasn't able to ride today, so I skipped my weekly ride to the lake. That's OK, I got a lot of much-needed yard work, maintenance, and cleanup done around the old farm.

Oh Ya, Life continues at a rapid pace! Sounds like Megan is undertaking some baby steps into reality....it's all good Marc, just enjoy the ride.

Rhett was a soccer player at BYU you should get advise from him!

So excited for Megan. Is Beth missing her like crazy?

My Bryan officially moved out Sunday night too, just 20 miles away at the Y. Of course, I'm used to him being gone the last 2 years to Brazil. But sure loved the 2 months he was home; am going to miss him and his beautiful viola music.

We are taking our youngest, Steven, to Logan either on Sat. after the marathon or Sunday after church. Man, life is happening fast.

You are going to be the BEST soccer coach! WAY to be there for your kids! Bet your wife appreciates all the hard work you're doing around the old farm. Next year, it'll be just me and Larry doing the farm work...so not looking forward to it! :)

Slick - Yep life speeds on by! Or from one of my favorite movies of all times Ferris: "Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it."

Kathie - Rhett is an awesome coach I'm sure. (at least coaching Doone to her first marathon). I'll hit him up for advice when I get a chance.

Smooth - You and Larry have done an awesome job as parents. Your kids are so fortunate to have you both.

Good luck to all you Park City runners..I'll be thinking about you on that long run up the hill and longer run back down!
