Lunchtime run w/ Darin. I was a little worried that my left ankle might slow us down (I rolled it a little on Saturday's run...and it's been a little tender since then). But, once we started moving, it loosened up and all was good. Brutal wind again, but a little warm today. Taking 2 days off after Saturday's long run was probably a good idea. Today's run felt really good.

I am happy your feeling better...the big show is coming up so fast!

From MarcE on Tue, Apr 06, 2010 at 23:21:01 from 204.16.82.122

Thanks, Kathie. The big show is going to be a nice, long run for me this year. I've got no big expectations or goals..I'm not going to get too stressed out, and I'm going to enjoy the weekend! I'm saving the stress for UVM. :)

Glad your ankle and foot are feeling better.

Boston will be GREAT FUN!

Yo Marc, take it easy on that ankle and foot, your going to need them in another 12 days at Boston. Remember your in the middle of your second week of taper, cut back, relax and let these nagging injuries heal up so you will be in top shape, mentally and physically, for Boston....

From Rhett on Wed, Apr 07, 2010 at 13:39:41 from 74.41.249.102

I'm glad the ankle isn't anything major. By looking at those splits, it may have made you even faster. :)

Is it July already in Texas, 80 degree!?!

From MarcE on Thu, Apr 08, 2010 at 10:13:13 from 129.188.33.25

Smooth - Thanks. Ankle's going to be fine (it seems like something is always hurting, somewhere...it just keeps moving around! :) Yes, Boston will be fun, fun, fun!!!

Slick - I'm only running every-other-day now. (which is not really much different than my non-taper routine). I'll be rested for Patriot's Day. Going to run 14 at MP on Saturday (just need to decide what MP is before then).

Rhett - Thanks. Not faster, but not slower either. See you in less than 10 days!.

MrsFIT - July will be in the 90s and 100s. Today it was 38 when I got in my car to go to work. Refreshing! Will be in the 60s today, 70s tomorrow. I love the temps this time of year--kind of like a box of chocolates!

Mmmmm, chocolate :)
