Got up at 4:20...AM. Drove to Colleyville to run with a group from Luke's Locker running store. Saw quite a few old friends. Ran with Julie for the last 6.5 miles (I started a little later than her and the "green" group). It was nice seeing all the people out there training for the various halfs and fulls -- all different abilities. The weather was quite pleasant..about 82, not so bad humidity, and a light breeze.

NICE 13 miler there. Cool that you found a group to run with on Sat. I would melt in 82. We've had good weathers for running lately.

13 miles in 82 degree heat...I would rather run in the snow any day!

How's your slip 'n slide injury doing?

From MarcE on Mon, Jul 13, 2009 at 13:09:23 from 24.155.140.8

Smooth, I talked to Slick recently. Sounds like you're area gets pretty warm during the day, too. I'm going to become a morning person.

Early to bed, early to rise, makes Marc able to exercise!

Kathie...I'm starting to think snow is not so bad.

MrsFIT...the slip-n-slide neck pain is gone. (Though I "enhanced" the slide a little this past weekend and tried it out---it's still a bumpy ride. I won't be trying it again until after my 50K race on Saturday night. I don't need any other aches or pains to hinder my ability to finish). Thanks for asking!

Nice running Marc. Looks like you are starting to gear up for SGM well.

Fun Saturday run ... can't believe you think 82 is good running weather though!!! But then again ... you are used to the 100s ... so yeah, I guess so!!! CRAZY!!!

Nice job Marc.
