We got some much-needed rain today, and temps in the upper 30's. As much as this would have been ideal training weather, I opted for the treadmill. Did 5 miles as quickly as possible.

AP: 7:30

Last mile: 7:00

The rain is supposed to stick around for a few days, so maybe I'll brave the elements tomorrow..

Keep up the hard work.

Wow that is pretty speedy on a treadmill. After SGM last year I am not a fan of running in the rain.

Nah, the rain won't hurt ya. GOOD JOB on getting it done. Do they cancel soccer when it rains?

Looks like you got in some good miles. If Boston ends up like it was 2 years ago, you may wish you got some rainy training in.

Thanks, all.

Smooth..I'm pretty sure they cancel soccer for rain. The boys are only 5 and 6...no need making them miserable, and think about the fans! (who wants to sit out there in the rain :-)

You're right, Rhett. I should have gotten the rain training in while I had the chance. Maybe I'll get another chance in the next few days..until the drought continues.

Or even like SGM last year. That is what I keep telling everyone else that I train with. Rain, snow and wind. Might have to run a race in it. Best to train for it now.:) Great job getting in some fast ones.
