Rode 13.5 miles to a friend's house on my bike. Was a bit windy, but felt good to get the old heart pumping again. Uphills on a bike are tougher than running, but the reward is waiting at the top as you coast down the other side!

Marc!!!!! THANK YOU for the b'day present! You are AWESOME! It was so very kind and thoughtful of you. I seriously did not expect that!

I didn't even tell Beth that it was MY medal that I gave her. Anyway I feel that she deserved a medal not just b/c of her hard work, but a reminder of the time we spent running on that desert. I had so much fun planning that marathon and couldn't wait to give it to her.

Now this "birthday" replacement made it even sweeter.

Smooth...I don't know what you're talking about! :) I know how much each of those medals means to me, and for you to give yours away so unselfishly like that..well you are..just amazing. Today in Sunday School our lesson was on the Fruits of the Spirit..Love, Kindness, Goodness, Patience, etc., and I just kept thinking how you are full of these fruits! It was just a small gesture...it didn't cost me a dime, you can really thank Leisure Services. It warms my heart to know that it meant so much to you. (and it's our little secret..and I guess Kathie knows now, too) :)

I am full of fruits now!?! Hehe!

That makes you, Marc, cream of the crop!

Thanks for being such a blessing in my life! I told Larry about this and he's not surprised it's you!!! We think the world of you! Keep going to Sunday School,,,I may learn a thing or two from you!
