Hey, you didn't report your eats. Enjoy your taper. Look forward to reading all about Cowtown and don't forget to post pictures.

So how it the taper going? Any taper MADDNESS to report?

From MarcE on Wed, Feb 25, 2009 at 13:48:04 from 136.182.2.25

Yes, I'm tapering, if you can call it that. I'm basically running 4-5 miles every other day until Saturday's "long training run". It's hard to call it a taper, when I'm barely reaching 30 miles per week. Once Cowtown is behind me, I'll have a few weeks to really ramp up to maybe match some "Smooth miles!".

I need to catch up on adding my food intake..I think it was starting to make me think about what I ate quite a bit, but not enough to make me change my evil ways! :-)

Kathie, yes a little bit of taper MADDNESS. Mostly the usual self-doubt about my lack of mileage, hoping for great weather, and hoping my watch doesn't stop on me (I'm wearing a backup) I bought a 3.5 pound bag of Jolly Ranchers on the way to work today. I'm set for the next couple years (do they last that long???)

I'm excited!!!!!
