Rest day.

Did a little pre-race Boston shopping. Went to the local Dollar Store and bought a few essentials; Nutri-Grain bars, salted pretzels, large trash bags (to stay warm and dry before the start). I looked for some blow up air mattresses, but couldn't find any.

I'm getting a little nervous about the weather. Every report is different. I'm guessing it will rain sometime during the weekend, and probably some on Monday. The 19 MPH headwind they're predicting is something I'm used to now, but would prefer it to diminish. I'll just hope for the best, prepare for the worst, and take whatever the day brings. :)

Time to start packing!

Hey, that's good thinking about the packing. I haven't found any cheap air mattresses either. I guess they don't have fire pits like at SGM start. Hmmm, 19mph wind. Too bad I am not in your corral; or I could draft off of you! LOL! Whatever the day brings; we will have a great time! See you in 3 days!!!

I'm betting that wind direction will shift just enough for you guys...

Sending good karma your way. Maybe someday Huans and I will be able to join the gang in Boston!!!

I was just making my list of things to pack as well. With the prospect of bad weather I have to pack a lot more stuff. Hopefully it will all fit into a carry-on. I don't want to check any bags.

Smooth..there will be plenty of people to draft off of. :-) The weather forecast changes hourly. I'm preparing for whatever.

Tim - I hope you're right!

Teena - Thanks!!!!!! :-)

MiisFIT - April 2010.

Rhett - I hear you. Because I have a connecting flight (and my airline charges per bag), I'm trying to fit everything in a gym bag and a carryon. I'll be sure to have some room for some extras coming home. I really wish I would have ordered that Boston backpack--I'll probably pick one up at the expo. See ya Saturday - Safe travels!
