Met at 7:07 on 7/7 and ran 7.77 miles! :-) (Smooth are 7's lucky numbers?) I'm pretty sure the temperature was about 77. (at least the humidity wasn't 77%)

Ran 1 mile warmup, 3 tempo miles, then a nice easy jog for the last 3.77.

Marc!!! PERFECT!!! Were your tempo miles in the 7's? SO COOL!!! That just gave me an idea for Kathie's b'day!!! I better mark it on my calendar before I forget! Have a LUCKY day!!! What are you gonna do at 7:07pm? Do 77 pushups?

From MarcE on Tue, Jul 07, 2009 at 13:52:28 from 129.188.33.25

Thanks, Kelli. You, too.

Actually, my average pace after the first 4 miles was 7:07 (one slow mile and 3 fast). The quickest was 6:29...I was feeling like I had just run a 5K race when we jogged the last 3.77 miles.

Is today Kathie's birthday? I've been so out of touch lately? I'll check her facebook page and see what's up.

I forgot..it's 9/9..and this year it is 9/9/9. I won't forget again, Kathie. :)

I had seven on the schedule but I only did seven, you know how I like nice round numbers!

So smooth any hints on the big "B-Day idea"?

From MarcE on Tue, Jul 07, 2009 at 21:31:50 from 24.155.140.8

As I ran around in circles trying to get that last .07 miles, I was thinking "Kathie isn't going to like this!"

From Teena on Wed, Jul 08, 2009 at 10:41:10 from 67.177.20.13

You all crack me up!!! We need to have a party for Kathie's birthday!!

Marc, nicely done!! I followed your example and ran 7.7 ... you are such a good influence on me!!! :)

All of those 7s!!! Wow!!! This is going to be a GREAT week for you ... just watch!!! :)

From Smooth on Wed, Jul 08, 2009 at 14:51:37 from 71.32.232.75

Big B'day idea: we should get together in persons (or virtually) and run 9.9 miles, finish by 9:09am, have a party where we will eat 9 of something and give you 9 high fives and hugs all that with 9 painted toe nails. Where would you like to have the run/party, Kathie since you're the birthday girl?

From Kathie on Thu, Jul 09, 2009 at 00:19:50 from 207.155.176.10

Great idea smooth - I think we can meet on the parkway by Gardner village... somebody will have to do the math to see when we need to meet if we do a 9:09 pace and want to finish at 9:09 am.

From Smooth on Thu, Jul 09, 2009 at 00:51:19 from 71.36.83.108

My guesstimate to run 9.9 miles at 9:09 pace would take around 1:30:39. So to finish at 9:09 am, we should start running at 7:39. We need to meet there around 7:15 am. This will be so fun. Will you give us driving direction to the meeting place? I think Teena knows where it is. Is there a park there for cake and ice cream afterwards?

From MarcE on Thu, Jul 09, 2009 at 21:59:03 from 24.155.140.8

I wish I could be there! Send me a piece of cake, please. :)
