I ran a fairly easy 3 miles after my daughter's award dinner at school. I only had time for 3 miles before it got dark, and I was running on a full stomach. Not a great run, but I got a few miles in.

On the brighter side, I won the lottery and am official entered for the 2009 St George Marathon!!!! Time to start training for about a 3:15 time. If I can maintain my fitness throughout the summer, my 3:19 at Boston -- and good race conditions in October could make it possible. I ran St George one other time in 2007, and ran a 3:20:02 -- while sick with a sinus infection. I need to stay healthy, and 3:15 should be within my reach...and best of all, I get to run with Huans and Jeff C -- on the way to their BQs. At least that's the current plan!!! :-)

I'm a little bummed that Teena didn't get in...I'm sooooo sorry Teena.

Congrats. I didn't get a bid for St. George. Going to run Top of Utah instead. You'll hit your goal, for sure.

Oh Yeah!!!! Its great to see we got in. And sounds like Teena will get in the hard way but still in. Mentioned the idea of running that Steamboat Marathon to the wife. And she said go for it if I wanted to. So are you planning on running that one for sure??

Huans32 - I'm going to fax in my entry forms today. If you're serious about running Steamboat, I'll email you the form and you can fax it in..as my travel partner. Let me know. Then we can figure out where to stay, etc..

Party in October for sure!!!!! I am so glad you got in!!!!

Three mile on a full stomach doesn't sound fun at all.

Sweet!!! Sure send me the form and we will do this. Sounds like it will be a beautiful run and if its anything like PC a quick recovery too.

Hey Jun, that's a bummer about St George. I was going to do TOU if I didn't get in.

Thanks, Kathie. It sounds like we're going to have quite a crowd of forumites meeting in October.
