First run since Sunday. Forgot my shoes, so ran in VFFs (I keep them in my car's trunk at all time). Ran on the grass along the road. Windy, but in the 60s. Felt OK.

AP: 8:30

Last night I received an email from the Pace Group manager from Cowtown..he wanted to know if I would like to pace the 3:50 group at Big-D on April 10th. Without fully thinking it through I accepted. (I was already planning to run the half or full at Big-D (Dallas), but was going to go for a fast one. Maybe I should reconsider. )

I've read your report on Cowtown! I'm late at commenting! I know it's history now, but I think you did an awesome job pacing your group through all those miles under such cruddy weather and condition! If you hadn't been sick, you would not had to pass the baton (aka pacer sign) onto another guy! You were a great host and friend to Slick and many many others! I salute you and admire you greatly!

Now, it sounds like you wanna redeem it at Big-D. I'd say go for a fast one! You're ready!!! Let your other buddies take the pacer duty this time! :)

Hey Marc, Hows Lloyd the "Kid" doing? I've been worried about him? And how are you doing?

Wow, your pacing the Big-D in April, wish I wasn't doing Boston so I could come do the race with you and your pace group!!!! I guess I'll just have to gear up to run White Rocks in December with you, are you pacing a group at that one, Hopea, hopea, hope!!!!!

I got out this morning and did a 12 mile recovery run....My AP was at 9 minute miles with my fastest at a 6.3 minute mile. Life is returning....

Smooth - I'm still leaning toward finding a replacement. Pacing is just a little more pressure than I would like ot place on myself. I'd like to get a BQ for 2012 under my belt (3:30) -- but to realistically get in I'd need a 3:20 or better. I might just have to come out to Utah to have a shot at it.

Dale - my gut is saying...feed me! :)

Lloyd - Lloyd the kid is doing great. We actually had a friend of ours adopt him yesterday (she has a boy who is home schooled and willing to feed him 4 times a day. We still have visitation rights anytime :). BTW - the weather has been perfect for running ever since last Sunday. We just picked the wrong day to race. Today's run was at noon, and it was 50F, no wind, and sunny. Felt great!
