First run since SGM. Took it very easy. Didn't wear a watch..guessing I was 8:30-9:00 pace. Felt pretty good. No right calf pain. But, definitely feel something on outside of left ankle. I wonder if this pain has been here for quite some time, only masked by my constant Achilles tenderness. I'll try it again on Wednesday.

Darin and Eric ran too, it was tough letting them go ahead of me, but they did 5 miles (at 7:15/mi) and I did 4..and finished a minute or so in front of them...I really expected them to catch me. Was a beautiful day. 60s, 15 MPH S Wind.

You must love running this time of year, when the weather is perfect. I am happy to hear your calf is feeling better.

Good to hear you able to test the old legs out. Nice and easy bro. You will come back.

Marc!!! YES! SO HAPPY you're running and no calf pain. What's up with the ankle?

Sounds like nice weather for running. Can't wait to be in Houston next month. Have a GREAT week!

Marc, it's good to hear that you're on your way to running pain free. Are you planning on Boston again this year?

Very nice.

So ... did you try again today?

I am glad you took some good time off! Sorry about the ankle pain, that stinks. I swear, it is really one thing after another. I am starting to think maybe running is not all that healthy-----but I will keep doing it anyway and so will you!

From MarcE on Thu, Oct 22, 2009 at 18:51:54 from 129.188.33.25

Still taking some more time off. In the big scheme of things 4 weeks of no running might do me some good! If I do any sort of training in the next 2 weeks, it'll probably be on the bike and/or elliptical. Been keeping busy with lots of other stuff...but, I'll be back!

From Rhett on Fri, Oct 23, 2009 at 13:03:43 from 216.67.218.34

Marc, I love the healthy approach and attitude you are taking with this injury. Keep being smart and you will come back stronger than ever and with a renewed energy for running.
