You are making my mouth water! :) I recollect you worked hard to put in your garden earlier in the Spring. Now you get to reap the reward of your labor! SWEET!!!!

NICE running this week! Wow 85F at 6:30am, SO HOT!!! GOOD WORK, Marc!!! :)

that sounds really good -

so how are the inexpensive runners working for you?

How's training for SGM coming along?

Long time no talk!!! Glad to see all is well and that you are eating a good breakfast!

From MarcE on Thu, Jul 14, 2011 at 23:15:35 from 204.16.82.120

Smooth - yes, I've been eating fresh veggies from the garden for several weeks. Cucumbers, tomatoes, melons, onions, radishes, peppers, and squash did well this year! If I can keep the tomatoe plants alive through the hot summer, I think I'll have a second crop in the fall. I just planted pumpkin seeds.

Tim- the cheap shoes are doing well. My hip pain is subsiding (maybe it's from NOT racing for the past few weeks). I think it's vital to rotate at least a few pairs of shoes between runs.

Rhett - I'm doing my best. SGM will be here soon. I ordered my plane tickets -- so I guess I'm locked in now. There's only one way back to St George from the starting line for me. I wish I was more motivated -- but, did I mention it is hottttt here. :)

Kelli! I really need to catch up on your blog..I'm surprised I haven't read about you in Runners World, yet!

You are funny, I assure you that you will never read about me in Runner's World unless I write a letter to the editor or something!

So, you are running St George again? YEAH!

Marc...thanks for the comments the other day. It was really needed. I have been struggling with running and was really thinking of quitting all together.
