My last run at the old Motorola plant -- did the 3 out, 3 back route w/ Darin and Dave.

As of Monday, we'll all be located at the new plant...so it's time to scope out some new running routes.

Solo run down Eagle Pkwy. Not going to like the new plant -- too many fast cars and no sidewalk. Going to have to find someplace to drive to at lunch or afterwork.

A few 800m intervals w/ Dave and Darin after work. We found a dead-end road about 1.5 miles from our place of work -- we'll drive there next time. Way to dangerous to run the "no shoulder" road to get there.

Ran a couple 800m at 2:50ish. About 7:20ish pace on the way back.

70F, not much wind.

Ran at lunchtime today. Ran out 2 miles into about 15-20mph wind. (8:00/mi) Felt good coming back (6:45/mi).

Met Dave and Darin at Darin's house at 7AM. Going to try the pre-work workout. The sun was up, 44 degrees -- perfect morning for a run.

I hadn't run in 5 days so my legs were pretty fresh. Started with a 7:50 first mile then picked up the pace from there. Finished with a 6:35 last mile (and the last 1/4 mile were up hill). It was quite refreshing to see I could still run a sub 7:00. Woohoo!

Lunchtime run from home. I needed a longish run -- I haven't run more than 6 miles at a time in several weeks. This one felt pretty good after the first 2 miles.

Set the alarm for 5:15 AM so I could get to Darin's by 6:45. I managed to wake up at 3:30, 3:50, 4:30, and 5:10 -- sheesh! (it was almost like the sleep before a marathon)

Met Dave and Darin at 6:45 at Darin's house. We decided to run about 5 miles. Darin and Dave charged the hills, while I kept a steady pace. I felt strong at the finish (even though this was my 3rd  straight day of running). The weather was a bit cool, but great for running.

Ran some slow miles on vacation - visiting family. 30 degrees and windy. Finished with a stop in at Dunkin Donuts -- picked up a dozen assorted for the family and a cup of hot coffee! Enjoying the week off and seeing some family.

Back from the family roadtrip to Chicago. 8 pounds heavier, and a little bit slower...but all the Chicago food indulgences were worth it! Great time with family and friends.

Ran at lunch alone. 2 miles out and 2 miles back.

5 fast miles before work with Darin and Dave. Brisk - 20 MPH N wind, 38 F.

Darin led, then Dave, then me. Still feeling a little sluggish from all my eating last week, but managed 7:04/mi for the 5 miles.

White Rock Half Marathon on Sunday (12/5). I have no expectations (anything under 1:40 would be great)
