Because my right calf had been giving me fits..I rested it for a couple weeks. I had already paid for the Cowtown Half, so I decided to show up and see how things went. Calf was fine. Feet were blistered. Finished in 1:55ish. Positive splits. Going to dust off the bikes...running has lost its excitement for me. I realize that running is a great joy for many of my friends...but it has turned into a painful chore. Instead of posting about my woes, until I'm ready to commit to regular training, I'm going to abandon this "Fast" running blog. Happy trails, folks!
