Met at 7:15 AM with Darin, Eric, and Jo.

Was supposed to be 3 x 1 mile repeats. Not sure why, but after the first mile, I was barely able to finish the 2nd two. HR seemed a little high for most of the day. Possibly dehydrated? Coming down with something? Maybe time for another rest day?

1 mile jog: 8:36

6:29, 7:11, 8:30? (forgot to start watch)

Hope you are not getting sick and that you have been downing the fluids all day.

Also, cool to see Jo running with you again. Hopefully that means her knee (can't remember for sure, was that the injured part) is feeling better.

Laters! :)

Oh does this mean you slowing down some?? Ok ok lets find a race so I can maybe beat you now.:)JK Great job on the repeats. Its probabably just a bad day. Rest up and hit it again tomorrow.

Maybe because it is hot!

From MarcE on Wed, Jun 24, 2009 at 19:02:39 from 136.182.2.26

Kelli...why didn't I think of that? :) Yes it is hot, but it was only 82 degrees...that's not to bad.

Hauns32 - Now's your chance. I don't feel like racing any 5Ks anytime soon. I'll be back.

Yes, it must have been a bad day. We'll see what Thursday morning holds for the hill workout.

So what was the target goal for those mile repeats? That first one seemed a bit fast. That is probably why the others were tough. When I'm doing mile repeats I find it important that the first one feels comfortable to be able to maintain that same pace for each one.

From timp on Thu, Jun 25, 2009 at 14:43:08 from 129.188.33.26

That 6:29 pace is a bit fast but not by much. Mcmillan puts you in around mid 6:30s to mid 6:40s for mile repeats.
