The Ft Worth Cowtown Marathon has been an annual tradition for me for the past 5 years....

I paced the 3:40 group for the 4th consecutive year, and came in 9 seconds fast. :)

Details to follow as I have time (work is busy). Here's my stats!

What a great pacer you are! You are just so consistant! Way to go out and have a great race at the Cowtown! I see that Joe's Run 5k is your next up in March? and White Rock is your next marathon in December...cool! Are the boys running Joe's 5k with you?

Hey MarcE,

Sorry I didn't come by and say hi before the race. I kinda got caught up in the momnets before the race. Looks like you did a great job pacing. I didn't have a very good experience with my pace group :-( I shouldn't blame it on the pacer...I should have just run my own race! Anyway, I lived and learned :-) I really enjoyed the race and hopefully will do it again next year. Thanks for taking your time to be a pacer, I know it's greatly appriciated!!!

Slick- Thanks! I'm not sure the boys are ready to run 5K, yet. There is a 1 mile fun run coming up near my house (the one I won last year)--we'll look into that one.

IJR - No problem not meeting up. It was a little chilly before the start. I was all alone for a while. I had a pretty good time. I tried to keep the effort consistent by watching my HR. But, it kept increasing with the wind in my face. I really need to work on my report!

Thanks, Smooth!
